Absentee Voting Underway in Missouri for November 5 Election

WESTON, Mo. (W1N) — Absentee voting is underway in Missouri ahead of the general election on November 5.

Voters can request absentee ballots from their local election office. Absentee voting started last week.

Missouri voters casting absentee ballots before October 22 must meet one of the following criteria: absence on Election Day; incapacity or confinement due to illness or disability; religious beliefs; employment by an election authority or specified roles; incarceration while retaining voting eligibility; or participation in the address confidentiality program.

October 22 marks the start of no-excuse absentee voting in person. All in-person voters must show a valid photo ID, including a Missouri driver’s license, Missouri nondriver license, U.S. passport, or military ID.

The last day to register to vote in the November election is October 9.
